Contains Undecylenoyl phenylalanine is an amphiphilic molecule made up of a lipophilic part, composed of undecyl acid and a hydrophilic part, phenylalanine (essential amino acid). Undecylenoyl phenylalanine has a binding affinity for MC1R receptors on melanocytes which bind the melanotropin antagonist, aiding in equalizing skin tone, increasing skin lightening effects, reducing the color intensity of hyperpigmented areas (spots).
